Welcome to First Baptist Church of Wakefield!

We are a people who love Jesus Christ, and who individually and in a community seek to be transformed by His love, mercy, and grace.

We joyfully want to share His love with believers and seekers in Wakefield, in our broader community, and throughout the world. We do this through listening, teaching, preaching, and discipleship; and by meeting the practical needs of people we serve. We actively engage in meaningful partnerships with other churches, Christians, and communities of faith to share the good news of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

We gather on Sunday mornings to study the Bible and to glorify God in a dynamic worship service intended to appeal across generations. We host a monthly Shepherd’s Table for people in need of a hot meal and warm fellowship. We sponsor outreach activities that have touched the lives of people living with AIDs in Africa, gangs in Central America, and victims of human trafficking in Thailand.
